IUCN’s Amazing Species

To increase awareness of the enormous variety of life on our planet, and raise the profile of threatened species, in 2010 IUCN  launched the IUCN Red List ‘Species of the Day’ and this was then followed in 2011 by IUCN’s ‘Amazing Species’.
